About the Tor Bus

Our Tor Bus service runs every half hour between 10:00am to 1:00pm and 2:00pm and 5:00pm from the beginning of April to the end of September and provides easy access to Glastonbury Tor.

The route takes it from St Dunstans Car Park by the Abbey along Magdalene Street, Bere Lane, Chilkwell Street, Coursing Batch, Ashwell Lane and Basketfield Lane to the Tor. It then travels via Stonedown Lane, Wick Hollow, Chinnock Road, Selwood Road, Fielding Path, Leg of Mutton Road, Wells Road, High Street, Magdalene Street, to St Dunstans Car Park.

This is a convenient way to get to the Tor and then walk back into town on a descending path. Other attractions along the way include Glastonbury Abbey - romantic ruins with over 2000 years of history - as well as The Chalice Well and Gardens - an ancient holy well set in the beautifully landscape gardens at the foot of Glastonbury Tor.
